Would Colours Would Work For A RCMP Wedding? – Ask The Expert Answer

I am wanting some suggestions about what colours would be good for dresses for a wedding where the groom is in the RCMP.

Answer from Bridal Expert Angela:

Hi Karen.  Well the obvious red and white would work beautifully.  Red is a very popular wedding colour this year for bridesmaids dresses.  At the spring bridal show I attended, they even had red wedding gowns for the brides (amongst other colours).   Any of the colours of the dress uniforms of the RCMP would also work—red, navy and gold. 

If you check out the red themed weddings, you will find some interesting ideas on how to "do red".  If you don’t want it to be that obvious a theme, you could opt for traditional red roses, use a lot of white with another colour for accents and bridesmaid dresses.  This posting on wedding colours will show you how to choose alternative colours for your wedding theme.
