My question is, what colours are commonly used in April for decor accents.  Thank you.

Hi Terry.  As you can appreciate, the bridal industry likes to create the "in" colours for each season.  It is really a matter of personal preference for the bride.  Check the bridal magazines and you will see what colours the industry is pushing for the season.    

In general, colours tend to mimic the colours in nature for each season.  Spring tends to be more colourful than winter weddings when it comes to colours.  One spring may be pastels, and another spring it is bolder colours, but usually still in the same spring palette of greens, yellow, blues, etc.  The truth is, there is no "common" colour for any season when it comes to bridal fashion. 

The last few years have shown a marked increase in "untraditional colours" like brown bridesmaid dresses, and lavender or red wedding gowns to name a few examples…..and these colours are not specific to any season anymore. 

The bride gets to choose, and the bridal industry is making it easier for her to choose colours away from the old traditions of white wedding gowns, and pastel coloured bridesmaid dresses.
