What Colours Are Best For An Autumn Wedding? – Ask The Expert Answer

Question from Shazin,

I am getting married in April 2009. As it is early autumn here in Australia, I wanted to know the best colour theme to go for. I am debating between mignight blue, silver and white; or Champagne taupe, Chocolate brown and white with gold. Thanks.

Answer from Bridal Expert Angela:

Hi Shazin, and congratulations on your upcoming marriage.  Choosing colours for your wedding is a very personal thing.  Both choices you are debating would look lovely.  I think the midnight blue, silver and white would be more dramatic than the champagne taupe, chocolate brown and white with gold, which I think would be more elegant.  What is the look you are going for? Here are some great ideas on autumn themes

To help you decide, check which colours look best on you and your husband.  Some colours work with certain skin tones better than other colours.  Same thing with your bridesmaids and groomsmen.  Which colours suit their skin tone best?

In the end, it is the choice you and your fiancee make together that is the best choice.  Have fun!
