How Do You Include A Friend Into The Wedding Without Making Them Part Of The Bridal Party? – Ask The Expert Answer
Question from Ashley:
I am getting married in May 2010, I am having a maid of honor, and 2 other bridesmaids. I was contemplating having another one but I think 4 is too many, but I have another good girlfriend that I want to have incorporated into the wedding somehow, any ideas how I could do this?
Answer from Bridal Expert Angela:
Hi Ashley. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. There are many tasks that are important at a wedding that you can have your friend do that would make her a part of the wedding. The most common is to have someone special do readings at a ceremony, or to do a special prayer for the couple before the meal. If they are musical, artistic, or have some other talent, you can find some way to incorporate that into the wedding ceremony or reception.
I would suggest you think of all the things that need to be done, and match her talents and temperment to one or more of those things. Good luck and feel free to email again if you have any questions.
