Question from Janay:
My husband and I got married in June 2008 at the courthouse. This year we want to have a reception in honor of our marriage. What should the invitation say?
Answer from Bridal Expert Angela:
Hi, and congratulations on your recent marriage. Start the wedding invitation with the name(s) of those hosting (paying) for the reception. I will assume it is you and your husband, so the wording could say: Janay and "X" invite you to celebrate their recent marriage at ……. Any similar type of wording will work, but you need to invite your guests to celebrate your recent marriage.
