Question from Lisa:
How far in advance are wedding invitations mailed out?
Answer from Bridal Expert Angela:
Hi Lisa, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Different sources will give you different answers. My guideline of when to send out wedding invitations is as follows:
Out-of-town guest invitations should be sent out 4 months before the wedding
In-town guest invitations should be sent out 3 months before the wedding.
This gives everyone time to plan to attend your wedding, and it gives you enough time to receive replies, phone the stragglers, and make final arrangements with your caterer/reception site without being stressed at the last minute.
Good luck, and if you have further questions, feel free to email.
