Breaking a glass is a really important tradition and exciting event in a Jewish wedding. I’m personally going to follow the tradition at my wedding next year.Everyone is Jewish on my fathers side and they love to party and always go all out in events.
My mother and fiancé are of different faiths but my fiancé really wants to honor the Jewish tradition of breaking a glass. We know shattering the glass represents for us "many pieces, many years, and many blessings together…".
There is this really classy Jewish Glass Breaking Pouch that I found online. It’s white and has a star of David embroidered on the top of it. There’s also a cute delicate bow that that ties around it. Well I know I’ll have an awesome time watching my fiancé shatter the glass and seeing my family’s excitement. I hope you get an awesome pouch, mazel tov!
