I’m sure many of you have been to other weddings and looked around daydreamed about your own. Every time I go to other weddings, I think about what parts of the ceremony and reception I liked and would like to integrate it into my own.
The ceremony is made for you and your fiancé to show your love to each other, but the reception is for you to show your love to your guests. That’s why having a nice set up for the tables and giving the guests little presents is the perfect way to show your appreciation to them for being a vital part in your lives.
One really cute wedding favour I saw at one of my girlfriend’s wedding was that she put two little white chocolate birds in bird’s nests. The birds were sitting on little blue candy eggs (or you could use jellybeans) and there were tiny flowers in the nests as well. I thought this was really clever way to give a gift because it’s cheap and easy. I’m sure you can buy small birds nests at a local craft store and the chocolate birds at a candy store or a food store.
