Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what to give your guests at your wedding. I know from experience because my fiancé and I are still trying to pick from a few really good ideas. We are considering one idea we got from my mother’s friend. You could give your guests a sapling.
Everyone loves plants to put in gardens, yards, or homes; and many people like to care for them as well. Love, also, is kind of like growing a tree or plant. It starts out new and fragile, but over time, with hard work and care, it can grow into a strong tree. That’s why giving your guests small tree saplings is a good gift that symbolizes your love.
You can wrap the pot in pretty cloth to keep the soil moist. Make sure the cloths are the same colors used throughout your wedding. Also you can add little name tags to your tree with you and your fiancé’s name and wedding date on it. If you don’t like that idea, you could write little personal messages to each person showing your thanks for their love and support on the tree tag.
