Beach Wedding Location Tip

Levi, I, and another couple just came back yesterday from a camping trip near the beach. We had a really great time. We slept in tents near the ocean and roasted fish, vegetables, and other tasty stuff on our grill and stayed up all night playing board games and roasting marshmallows.

One of the days we were there, a wedding took place on the beach a near where we were camping. We saw them by accident while we were trying to get the last bit of sun the summer had to offer on the beach. It was a really beautiful wedding and looked and made me want to have a beach wedding next summer.

Beach Wedding

One thing I really liked about this particular beach wedding was the location of where they had it. You would normally think that a beach is the perfect venue for a wedding, but you have to take into consideration that beaches are usually full of people and you might not want there to be noise from the people tanning and splashing in the water, nor you would want the people to be in the way of photographs or a view. The worst thing that would happen would to be someone in a embarrassing swimming suit in the water right behind where you and your groom are standing reciting your vows. Think of the photographs. It’s not like you can really tell him to leave; he paid to spend the weekend at the beach too.

So finding a beach location that is relatively isolated is perfect. One way to do that is to have your wedding on a more “off-season” day. Like, it’s the end of September, so most people wouldn’t be at the beach this time of year like how they would’ve been in July or August.

Those are just a few things to keep in mind when planning a beach wedding.
