Silk Bridal Bouquets of True Beauty

Bouquets. A wedding would not be a wedding without them. There’s nothing like a beautiful bunch of flowers to compliment the equally beautiful bride on her big day. Bouquets are usually made up of a bunch of flowers which are creatively arranged together by the florist – or just about anyone with a natural artistic flair – resulting in a bunch of fine-looking flora that is pleasing to the eye.

Although nothing can quite beat the beauty of natural flowers with their fresh smell and vibrant colors, fresh flowers don’t always agree with everyone. Some unlucky few are actually allergic to fresh flowers, even some brides. A sneezing fit on the wedding day is not something the bride would want to remember. That’s why silk flowers are actually a great alternative, and many bridal specialists nowadays offer silk bridal bouquets as options.

Silk bridal bouquets could actually look just as realistic as the real deal, even though the flowers may be made out of silk. In fact, some of these silk bridal bouquets look so genuine that no one would be able to tell the difference! And they can be customized to any shape, color, size or type of flower the bride wants. Of course, it goes without saying that the more realistic-looking flowers will naturally come at a higher price. But it’s a price worth paying to be sure. These bouquets are going to be in almost all the wedding photos so you want to make sure they stand out and look absolutely fabulous.

Silk bridal bouquets are not made just for the bride, but also for the bridesmaids as well, although the one that the bride is going to carry will obviously be the center of attention. She is after all the main focus of the day. So it is essential that the silk flowers be made to look as realistic as possible – although as the bride, you would want to make sure that the silk bridal bouquets carried by your bridesmaids also look realistic. Just because the bridesmaids may not be the center of attention, it doesn’t mean no one’s going to notice if their bouquets seem a little out of place. Because they will after all be standing up there with you at the altar. Remember that every detail of the wedding should be as perfect as it possibly can, and these include the flowers.

As with every other detail of the wedding, the bouquet that the bride carries on that day has to flow well together with her wedding dress, wedding theme, and just about everything else really. That’s why some brides are thrilled to learn that certain stores actually allow them to custom-design their own wedding bouquet, allowing them the freedom to make it as big or as little as they want, made up of any flower or combination of flowers even and it can even be any color the bride wants it to be! All she has to do is make sure her selection does not clash with any bit of her wedding attire and she is all set to go.  But with so many stunning choices of bouquets out there, choosing the right one could prove to be a challenging tasks. If in doubt, the bride could always just bring along some friends or her bridesmaids even, for a second opinion.

Of course, the idea of going for a bouquet of flowers made of silk may not exactly seem like the number one option for most brides-to-be, but choosing to go with a silk bouquet could actually have some plus points to it. For starters, the bride wouldn’t have to worry about maintaining the flowers on the day of the wedding, because the best bit about silk flowers is that they can last a lifetime if taken care of. Also, if the bride is the sentimental type, these silk bouquets could be a great souvenir as a memory of the wonderful wedding day she experienced.

If the bride decides to go for the silk flowers option, another plus point is that these flowers can be ordered weeks in advance because they won’t wilt and dry the way real flowers will.  The bouquet will still have the fresh, new, look on the day of the wedding because silk flowers never lose their shape. So there’s one less hassle the bride has to worry about on the wedding day.
