Just wondering if you may have any interesting ideas for a Halloween themed
wedding? I have Lot’s of good ideas, but am finding it hard to find
anything "wedding themed" which could be used for Halloween, Which arn’t
your typical fall decor and colours. Any and all ideas welcome! Thanks!

Hi Melanie,
What a fun idea! A Halloween wedding. Yes, everything is pretty standard fall colours, or halloween oriented. But, the options are really endless and are really up to what you like and don’t like.
I would suggest that you approach it strategically.
- Choose the wedding things you like and what you "must have" in your wedding. Choose your favourite colour(s), flowers, etc.
- Then, look at what wedding things can be "shifted" into Halloween mode. For example, look at what you want for your wedding ceremony. Then see what things you can "adapt" into a Halloween mode. Pick your colours, and use those colours instead of the traditional black and orange.
By approaching it this way, your focus is on the wedding with the theme being worked in as you choose it. If you approach it from the Halloween mode first, you can get bogged down in the traditional colours and Halloween party things.
Because Halloween is a pretty strong theme, you may want to have your ceremony more traditional, followed by an all out theme reception, but it depends a lot on your spiritual beliefs and family traditions.
If you focus on the wedding planning, and then work the theme in, you will be able to blend the two successfully.
