How Do I Tell Guests To Dress Casual? – Ask The Expert Answer
Question from Eloisa:
In one of your replies you mention that I should only write "formal" or casual for the attire of the guests but also you mention that with all the questions I had been asking that My husband and I are going for a "informal" or "casual" reception.
You mention that since we are having a 25th anniversary/ renewal that the guests will probably be dressing "informal". With all the questions I have asked Can you give me an idea of how to word my invitations if we decide to go "casual"?
Answer from Bridal Expert Angela:
Hi Eloisa. Yes, in that other post I outlined the differences between Formal, Informal, and Casual attire. Usually in the left bottom corner of the invitation you would have the words "Casual Attire". In the same place as the style of dress, there is other instructions like Presentation, or Gift Gratefully Accepted (or Declined). Use the same invitation format for your 25th Anniversary as for a wedding invitation. I hope that helps!
