Fall Outdoor Wedding Colour Choices – Ask The Expert Answer
Question from Sally:
I have been asked to be the only attendant for my very dear friend next fall in her wedding. She is having it at a resort, and it will be in September.
She has left the dress up to me, but says that whatever I choose, she’ll likely use that colour as a wedding theme…Yikes!! I don’t really want that responsibility, and she promised she’d be honest about things but can you suggest a cut/colour for an outdoor fall wedding? I was toying with a rusty-orange, perhaps the tea-cut…but I don’t really know?!!! Thanks.
Answer from Bridal Expert Angela:
Hi Sally. The colour and cut you are suggesting would work well for a fall wedding. I understand your reluctance in being responsible for choosing the colour for the wedding.
My suggestion to you is to plan a "shopping day" with your friend, and the two of you go out and find the dress together. You may even choose to scout out some dresses ahead of time, and then go shopping with the bride. This will be an enjoyable time together as well as taking the pressure off you for making the decision by yourself. Enjoy!
