Should those who are planning and paying for the bridal shower also give gifts?

 Answer from Bridal Expert Angela:

 Hi Phyllis. It is common practice for the maid of honour and bridesmaids who are putting on the bridal shower to share the expenses of the bridal shower. In addition, they usually go in together to get a gift for the bride—this allows for a nice gift without everyone having the cost of purchasing a gift separately.
