Asian themed wedding is gaining in popularity

Bold, extravagant, and livid use of colors defines the true essence of an Asian themed wedding. Affluent with a non-conventional and diverse culture, it is no wonder that there is an amplified number of people appreciating this creative and novel wedding theme.

Contemporary weddings are becoming an operative and orthodox part of the wedding community and it appears that the Asian theme has taken the world by storm and produced a deep and persistent yearning for some oriental ideas. Most partakers of this hype are modern brides who are daring and who enjoy exploring other cultures and their approach when it comes to planning and decorating for a wedding.

For the bridesmaid, they can wear kimonos in bright and attractive red and precious gold woven in fine silk and carry printed paper fans. Ideas worth exploring are erecting indoor fish ponds with lilies and candles floating on placid water, hanging parchments with printed Chinese or Japanese characters that are suitable for the occasion, having origami statuettes or cranes on the table and several other ideas which are expedient.

It is quite befitting to create a Chinese or Japanese atmosphere and it becomes easier and affordable if one uses the material around them, examples of such materials are bamboo sticks, stones and flowers from the garden. An idea for the rich is booking exclusive locations in China or Japan and flying the whole wedding party to that location for the wedding.

Oriental cuisine is popular for its diversity and ability to cause an explosion of flavor in people’s palates. In order to have the best menu then consult a professional Chinese chef or your local Chinese restaurant cook for scrumptious recipes. Food to be served can range from wasabe beer to gyoza and tenderloin teriyaki. Fortune cookies can also be employed in accordance to the theme. 

The last but not least item that will require one’s full attention is the wedding cake. Because we all have varied tastes it is ideal to bake a cake that is universally delicious and try to decorate it with bold oriental inspired colors and accessories like flowers, ribbons etc.
