Custom wedding gifts

Wedding ceremonies are without a doubt, big events which are highly anticipated and much welcomed. There’s a whole lot of planning which needs to be done once two people much in love with each other make the big decision to tie their relationship with the matrimonial knot. Once the green light goes on, its all go for the wedding planners who would have to cover all the meticulous details which is the hallmark of any wedding ceremony.

Planning for a wedding ceremony involves a lot of background thinking aside from the running around and actual hard work to be done. First and not least is the theme for the wedding. The safest theme would invariably be the tried and tested route of a traditional, and often, conservative wedding ceremony. This type of wedding ceremonies are such a delight to be in, so much so, that it does no one wrong to opt for it. In fact, choosing such a theme would save a whole lot of time in thinking about the venue where the wedding ceremony would be held as any house of God will do fine.

Bridal Shower Favors3.jpg Next up would be the invitation cards for the guests as the date and venue have already been decided. A good choice would be to make it an RSVP invitation so that you could gauge roughly how many would eventually turn up for the wedding ceremony. This is an important facet in planning for the wedding ceremony as it would determine how big the event would be, in other words the details as to how many tables and chairs to be set up, how much and what kind of food and drinks to be served to the guests (by this time, you would have known who is attending the big day) and, often overlooked, what kind of door gifts you want to give the guests.

This is one aspect which wedding planner should place just as equal priority as the other details in any wedding ceremony. Sure, what you present to the guests will not make or break a wedding ceremony, but a slip would probably leave many with just a tad bit of disappointment in their minds when they leave the reception. What is important is that the marriage, hence the bride and the bridegroom, gets ample goodwill and blessing from those who turned up to celebrate their tying the knot.

Generally, it would be a good idea for the couple to have custom wedding gifts for the attending guests in line with the theme adopted for the wedding ceremony. Those opting for the traditional theme and favor would be restricted a bit in their choices of gifts as zany and more creative gifts may well look out of place in such a serene environment. Keeping to gifts which are atypical of wedding ceremonies – flower arrangements, silk scarves, memorabilia – should be fine. You could still incorporate some personalized touches to these gifts to allow the guests the luxury of remembering exactly where they got the present from.

Take a garden wedding ceremony. Imagine guests going home with beautiful Bonsai trees after the reception, complete with a carved out courtesy card on the flower pot. If budget is no restriction, couples could also set up a small nursery of sorts – complete with a whole range of exotic potted plants, flowers and garden accessories – for the guests to choose form. As decorative items, such creative gesture would be appreciated.

Another theme where the whole customized gift sets idea would work is beach wedding ceremonies. The basic idea for holding a wedding ceremony in such an open area is the flexibility and carefree spirit which equated with such a setting. This is also another wedding favor whereby the door gifts to attending guests could be tailor made to fit the setting. Sea shells pots, beautiful corals, pearls for the ladies, miniature aquariums for the children – the list is limited only creativity and, of course, budget. Couples without such a constraint could even custom-made miniatures of either the resort where the wedding is held, or even the yacht where the newlyweds would be cruising in from their honeymoon.

One thing’s for sure, custom wedding gifts would make a fine impression on the guests in that the bride and the bridegroom appreciate their kind attendance. That, a whole lot of thinking had been put in to make the day the perfect day that it should be.
