Wedding favours straight from the heart.

To graciously express your gratitude for all the warm wishes and support that your guests have given you on your wedding day, you might want to think of great unique wedding favours as a gift. It does not merely act as a gift; it should also be the symbol of remembrance of the happiest day of your life.

It is only fair to share it with the rest of your guests as those who are attending your wedding should be your friends and family members. What better way to thank them than to present them with something that they can keep and look back years later and would still have that little happy smile at the thought of your wedding day. 

In order to make your wedding favours special and significant, the gift for the guests should always collaborate with the entire theme of your wedding. If you have all the time and talent in the world, you should probably think of making your own gifts for the guests.

Candles are quite easy to make and they can be quite cute not to mention useful for your guests. The easiest way to make them is to get the white plain candles and dye them with colors to your liking. Depending on your preferences you can add colorful petals of flowers, potpourri, and even sea shells. Add some aromatherapy oil to and when it’s ready decorate the candles or tie them with a string or ribbon that’s also attached to a card. You can write your message on the card or just simply words of gratitude from both bride and groom.

Another great and economical idea for gift is to give your guests personalized bottles or small vases. Check out your local bottle or vase manufacturing company and I’m sure they can create a personalized item for you. However, they would usually entertain your request if you are ordering in bulk. You can have your name, the date of your big day or even your picture written on the bottles or vase. This way not only would it be a remembrance for your guests, it can also be an item for home decoration for your guests. Depending on how grand your wedding is, and especially if you’re inviting large number of guests, personalized bottles or vases can be quite economical but one-of-a-kind presents for all of your guests.

If you have a bigger budget to play with and you are having a very private wedding attended by only your closest friends and family, you should give them something more exquisite and elegant to bring home. If money is not an issue for you, why not surprise your guests with gifts that they can’t find anyway near home. Assuming that you buy your wedding supplies abroad, you should also remember to include wedding favours in the list of your shopping spree as well.

If you’re staying in Canada and are planning to buy your wedding supplies in Europe, you can always pre-order miniature bottles of wine with personalized wordings for your guests. Arrange with the dealer to have it shipped to you two weeks or one month before the wedding day so you could decorate the miniature with your own style. Not only would it be original I can be sure that your guests will really appreciate the gifts. However, before you go, make sure you have made enough research beforehand and know the exact place and pricing so you won’t be spending your time searching and looking abroad. Even better, try to find the right dealer and deal with him before you go so both of you would be comfortable and trustful with each other.

If you simply don’t have the time, energy and money to do all that you can always purchase your gifts at any party or wedding supplies stores. I’m sure they have quite a range of items to choose from depending on your budget and theme. If you want a simpler way, internet is always just one click away. Once you browse through, you will be surprise at how many choices of gifts you can choose from.

So it is always better for you to have at least an idea of what you want so you won’t get side track by the choices that you can find. You can purchase the gifts on line and you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your home as once the transaction goes smoothly, they will deliver the items right to your doorstep. This would be a perfect choice especially for those who didn’t even plan to have a wedding but due to some circumstances (maybe the guy suddenly conjured the courage to finally ask you to marry and wants to do the whole thing in one month time), are rushed to have a wedding.

So no matter what your themes and what your choices of gifts are, be sure to give the gifts right from the heart. At the end of the day, it does not really matter how big or small the gifts are, or how expensive or cheap, the important thing of all is you are giving it truthfully from the heart.
